Thanks to Google Adwords and their geo-targeting feature advertising to home business seekers in the UK just got a whole lot easier.
Google Adwords gives you the ability to purchase keywords that you may want to be found under when someone types in a Google search. As a paid advertiser you will create a text ad and your ad will either show on the top 3 spots or on the right hand side of the Google search results depending on your bid price and click through rates. For example you could bid on the keyword “MLM Business” and with the geo-targeting option within your Google Adwords account you can set it so only searchers from the UK who search “MLM Business” will see your ad.
With Google Adwords you only pay when someone clicks on your ad and you can determine what that cost per click will be. You can set a daily budget and control your advertising spend so it doesn’t get out of hand if you have a smaller budget. You can literally have your advertisement on the very first page of Google for any keywords you wish to be found under providing you have bid high enough. Providing you already have a website you can have a Google ad up within 15 minutes.
The cool part about Google’s geo-targeting feature is that you can choose where in the world you would like to have your ads displayed in search results. Through the IP address of the searcher Google is able to control the display of your ads to make sure only UK internet users see it. Obviously you’ll be generating real time UK MLM leads from these efforts.
Another one of the benefits to geo-targeting with Google is that you’ll be bidding against fewer competitors. On very high traffic keywords such as “MLM, Home Based Business, Business Opportunity Etc… you’ll be able to spend less money because you’re only dealing with those searches from the UK and not the entire globe. Obviously you will be dealing with a lower volume of traffic but it’s extremely targeted and will be capable of generating you real time leads from the area you want to build your business in.
To make sure you get the possible response from a geo-targeted ad you’ll want to make sure that your advertisement reflects the region you are trying to target. In addition to that you’ll need to make sure that your lead capture page is also targeted to the region. It’s not that difficult to target and I’ll give you an example here.
We have geo-targeted our MLM lead generation campaign to the UK.

That’s just a very simple ad targeted to people in the UK. When people from the UK see that ad they are more likely to click because the ad is targeted specifically to them. By creating a connection with the surfer you have a better chance of drawing them into your site. It’s important to try to have the geographical area’s name in your ad as well. Remember by geo-targeting your ad is going to be shown only to searchers in your specified area for your chosen keywords. If we can make them feel that these ads were “just for them” you’ll get a much sharper response.
I think you can see the power of geo-targeting your advertising. You can literally have targeted advertising in any Internet using country in the world at the click of a few buttons. Google’s user interface makes the process extremely painless and will have you generating your own UK specific MLM leads in no time. If you’ve been wondering how you can effectively expand your business into other areas of the world you’ve just been shown one form.
