Is there A Perfect MLM/Network Marketing Company?

Have you ever been in that place in your Network Marketing career where things reach a flat line? Your business is growing rather slow and you are wondering what’s wrong?

This is normal for every business. You have growth spurts and then things kind of slow down.

The question is how do we keep ourselves from getting discouraged or better yet “distracted” while things are moving rather slowly?

My experience has been that the easiest thing to do is to get distracted by someone elses “hype”. Oh the hype is in every corner of the internet.

The truth is no business works. Yep that’s right, no business works. The only thing that works is YOU! Alot of people wonder off searching for the “perfect company” “perfect comp plan” ect…

It doesn’t exist. The busienss will “work” according to the effort you put forth, your mental fortitude and your daily actions.

That’s it, there is no secret to it. Your perfect Network Marketing company is unique to you. You will feel that a business either makes sense to you or not and there is no wrongor right here. It’s all about what you value.

Find what makes sense to you and go for it! And remember beautiful websites, leads, marketing ect…. none of this works unless you work it without taking your foot off the brakes or getting sidetracked or distracted. I know it’s easier said than done. I speak from experience.

If you have any similar experiences related to this topic I’d love to hear from you!

Are You An Agent Of Change OR Only A Distributor of Products/Services?

Did you know that as Network Marketers we are agents of change and not just distributors?

I’m betting when you signed up as a distributor with your company you weren’t at all thinking about  this. I remember I was just really excited about the income potential. It just so happens that you are using your company and products/services as a tool to assist you in being an agent of change.

As an agent of change you are not only changing your life for the better but you are also assisting others in changing their lives as well.

Do you convey this when you are communicating with another person? You want to convey your message in a way that you are using your company and products/services as a tool to assist you in being an agent of change.

Really, we are in a helping people business, not skin care or financial services or vitamins, cleaning products, chocolate, ect…..

I’ll give you a few examples of  how to convey this:

AT&T’s advertisement is not “We sell long distance”  instead it is “Reach out and touch someone”.

See the difference? Here is another one:

Kodak’s advertisements It’s not “We sell film” instead it is “Make it a kodak moment”. You’re started to get the picture here?

Clearly your products are important and a big part of  your Network Marketing business but make sure that you are leading with a message in a way where the emotional component is communicated.

This will help you create a successful and profitable business long term.

Trying To Convince Your Prospects? Try This Instead

Do you spend lot’s of time on the phone with a prospect trying to convince them that what you have they need? And have you wondered why you get objections to begin with? Watch the video below as Tim explains where objections come from and how to handle them with ease.

“The Most Valuable Piece Of Advice You WILL EVER Get In Network Marketing”

So you want to own a successful Online Home Business? You want more time, more freedom, more travel and more time to spend with your family? Generate a nice residual income over time? Live a life of luxury and leave a legacy?

Who doesn’t right?

If you do want all of the above or maybe more, Network Marketing is the right place to be, but signing on the dotted line is just that, your signature on a piece of paper.

I’m sure you’ve heard all sorts of things that you NEED to do in order to be successful in your Online Home Business once you get started.

Some are:

1. Learn how to generate leads.
2. Do online and offline advertising.
3. Follow up effectively with your prospects (the fortune is in the followup) that’s my favorite one.
4. Find your target market, for example business owners, stay at home moms, baby boomers ect…
5. Figure out what your marketing budget is.
6. Create a personal website with an autoresponder.
7. Start building a list.
8. Train your new people.

These are just SOME of the many things you have to DO to be successful in your Online Home Business.
The list is actually much larger. BUT the one thing you don’t hear and it is “The Most Valuable Piece Of Advice You WILL EVER Get In Network Marketing” and this might come as a surprise because of it’s simplicity and the truth is if you don’t do this your chances of success are SLIM.

So here’s the most valuable piece of advice you’ll ever get… “Increase your personal value to the world.”

Yes, that’s it: “Increase your personal value to the world.”

Did you ever consider that the amount of money you make is a direct measure of your worth to society?

Well, it’s true, and if you want to increase your income, you’ve got to increase your value to others. Once you do that, money starts coming at you like wouldn’t believe. Business becomes a piece of cake.

It all comes down to “social dynamics.”

You see, people like to work with, learn from, and buy from proven leaders who can offer them real value.

It’s an instinct of our very genetics because associating ourselves with people of means and power increases our chances for survival and prosperity.

In essence, when you increase your value to others, you never have to “sell” anything. People approach you. You become a prosperity magnet (or as they say in Hollywood — you attain ’star quality’), and achieving the kind of financial prosperity you want becomes so easy, it’s a non-issue.

On the other hand, if you don’t have any real value to offer someone, they’ll take their business elsewhere.

So the most important thing you could ever do, regardless of your occupation, is to increase your value to others by increasing your knowledge, experience, and skill sets.

Simple huh? We’ll it is and if your struggling in your home business right now it could be in direct proportion to this very fact. You need to go out with the mindset of “what can I do for you”? Instead of “I need to get , get , get”.

Tips for Successfully Calling Leads

Calling leads from a genuine lead list
is one of the most effective and comfortable ways to build your
business.

The reason for this is simple. The people you’re calling have
already “raised their hands”… they’ve indicated a need…
they’re interested in making a change and doing it through a
home-based business.

And during these interesting times with the global economy in
uncharted waters, and a new economy and new world emerging, one
thing is for certain… more and more people will be looking for
and open to a different way to secure their present situation and
future. They’ll start replying more frequently to home business
opportunities.

They’ll also be looking for someone authentic they can trust and
work with when they are called back.

And responding to and calling them is another skill set that will
serve to help you grow and secure your own future

So, using a good lead list or generating your own leads has great
advantages.

However, if you find that your conversion ratios are very low…
and by that mean, you’re calling a lot of leads to have one
person join you… then it could be the way you’re approaching
your leads that is the cause of the problem.

For example, many Network Marketers are taught to;

* Use “canned” scripts when they call leads.
* Focus on getting the person as quickly as possible to listen
in on a conference call or go to a website which will “close”
them on the opportunity.

And therein lies the cause of the problem that makes most people
automatically resistant to you.

They feel as if you’re treating them as nothing more than sheep
being rounded up. They can see through your agenda and they can
hear that it’s not really about helping them realize their needs
- it’s about you realizing yours!

It’s no surprise that people hate being treated this way… and
they respond by creating resistance through raising objections
and rejecting you.

So, to help you from falling into this trap, ask yourself this
question… “Why has this person responded to my
advertisement/website about my business opportunity?”

The answer is that something is missing and they’re looking to
make a change in their lives.

So your job is to find out what that is by interviewing them and
allowing them to talk about it. You’re looking to discover if
your solution will fit what they’re looking for.

Equally important, you want to discover if they are the kind of
person that you’re looking for. Someone who will be an
enthusiastic and keen member of your team.

I’m sure you’ll agree that starting off the conversation on the
right foot is critical.

Here’s the six-step formula I suggest for calling and connecting
with someone from a lead list:

Step 1: State who you are.

Step 2: Where you are from.

Step 3: Give them a “heads up” as to why you’re calling, by
referencing and reminding them that they asked you to.

Step 4: Ask them if this is a good time.

Step 5: Discover if they are still looking.

Step 6: Find out their present situation and ask how you can help
them.

And here’s a question that you can use (and adapt for your
circumstances) in Step 6 at the start of the conversation when
calling a lead…

“Before I talk about what I’ve got, perhaps you can tell me…
what was it about the advertisement that attracted your
attention?” (Or some other Needs Awareness Question).

So, when you’re calling leads, focus on your purpose, which is to
discover how you can help the person that you’re calling. You’ll
find your calls both more productive and more enjoyable.
