I live in the beautiful city of Miami, FL, I’ve actually lived here most of my life. Eli and I have been married 11 years and we have 4 amazing kids. Yep we’ve been busy:-)

I’ll be honest with you,  I’m not too into hobbies or extra activities right now.  I’m in the season of raising a family and building a business, and I’m perfectly happy with that for now.  I do suspect a camping trailer is in my near future, though. 

Professionally Speaking
I had a great paying job in the corporate world. I worked in the accounting department of an international shipping company. I had very good pay considering I was only 20 years young and had  no college education. The company saw right through that, and because of my dedication and work ethic I was trained and promoted twice.

Shortly after Eli and I married we discovered we were soon to be parents. I was so excited. My plans were to continue to work and leave my daughter in the care of someone whom I trusted very much.

Well, nothing could have prepared me for looking into those beautiful brown eyes the first time.  I was absolutely in love and knew my life would never be the same. 

 I struggled with the same decision millions of men and women are faced with. Should I go back to work and leave my children in someone else’s care? Or should I give up my career and raise my children myself?

The choice was simple.  My family came first. 

I gave up a lot of things that until that time made me who I was and I had no idea what to expect but I had made a decision and I stood by it.

 I’ve been a stay at home mom for ten years now and have loved every minute of it. I have to admit though, it hasn’t been easy. If you are a mom with an entrepreneurial spirit you absolutely understand that the shift from the corporate world to being a full time parent can be hard.

I was firm in my decision and made staying home work for me, but it didn’t stop me from wanting to start a career or from wanting to create an incredible lifestyle.

I was hungry to get out there and put my skills and talents to good use. So I turned to the internet and started searching. I had no idea what to look for or what my options were, I was clueless and naive. 
In the spring of 2007, I signed up for my first “serious” work at home business

I was excited, sure of my success, open to learning and eager to contribute to our finances. One year later, I was frustrated, in debt, and ready to quit.  I had made a commitment to myself and I knew that within myself I had the power to make anything I did a success.

 The question was, did I have the right vehicle to accomplish this? Was I being given the truth about what it really takes to build a successful home business?

I took a step back and made a commitment to educate myself on what was out there, select something that worked for me and my family, apply the time, dedication and perseverance that I knew it would take and reap the rewards!!

I wanted something in an industry that is fast-growing, recession proof, and that people use and want.  I also wanted something that would provide an on-going residual income.  You know, something that would pay me over and over for the work that I do one time!

Finally, I wanted to create multiple streams of income. I had a growing fascination with the Internet, it’s potential and the idea that one could make an incredible income online.

One thing I know for sure, the Internet is here to stay and it has made the reality of having your own successful home based business better than ever.

Combine that power with the fact that 96% of people polled want to own their own business and most want to work from home!

I began my research and, quite honestly, haven’t stopped.  After investigating a lot of things, I settled on the ones that work for me, and that’s what is presented here!  

I believe there is a lot of false information going on in the internet about a home based business.

Don’t be GULLIBLE like I was.

There IS work to be done in a home based business and it’s important to know what the pitfalls are. HINT: Automated Systems Are Not Everything!

What are distributors representing to you to get  you to join their business? Be careful of those who like to sugar coat it.
